I agree. That being said I had the same issue with another board and it only took a week to get the boot kit from AMD.

The BIOS needs to be updated to work with the Ryzen 3000 series, but you can't update it without a Ryzen 2000 series chip.
Some motherboards allow you to update via USB, but only some. It looks like this one has to have a chip.

AMD is loaning out boot kits to update the BIOS for free, but you gotta wait for the boot kit to arrive.

The BIOS does not support the CPU out of the box. You'll need an older generation processor to get to a point where you can update the Mobo BIOS and gain compatibility for the 3600. AMD offers to send you out the older chip to get up to speed but you'll be waiting on shipping for that.

Nice deal. I splurged and went with the 3700X and ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) mobo at Microcenter. They give $50 off when you buy a proc and a mobo.
