My understanding is that there isn't a big jump between gen 8 and 9... nothing like the difference between 7 and 8.

I'm sorry, I thought this was slickdeals, not "you're expecting a good price????"deals
Yes but at the same time you have to be realistic in price unless you expect price mistakes.

This keyboard layout is weird for the arrow and page up and page down key. You will accidentally touch pageup and pagedown a lot.

Wish they kept the same keyboard layput as the xps 13 9560. Why changed it? I am so used to it. If you are a programmer that used these two keys left and right arrow alot, you will hate this thing

There is no OLED version for the 13" and the 15" OLED screen is $50 less than the 4k IPS touchscreen. Personally, I would not buy a laptop without touch after getting used to the added productivity you get with it. Anyone who doesn't see the benefit of touch has not used one for an extended period of time.

You can swap out the SSD. Unfortunately not the RAM.

Note - this was a better deal a few days ago when they were doing the 15% bonus points thing since that doesn't cap off at $60.

Not really a deal if you're in CA. It is cheaper buying it directly from Adorama since Rakuten has tax for CA. $861.98 from Rakuten whereas it is $849 from Adorama.
