This allowed me to check out with shipping, so it may not be in-store only! Smilie

I updated the URL to the one that has the OLED screen. I must have copied the wrong URL upon creating the post, as I wouldn't have thought the non-OLED FHD version would be the exact same price.

Any experience with micro center open box? Open box is $150 cheaper.

It's possible but with most modern OLED screens (some defective ones burned in easier iirc) you have to really abuse it for there to be burn in.

If it says complete in box I think it might be worth a shot at least to look at. As far as I know Microcenter doesn't have any restocking fees, meaning you could take it home and check it out. The manufacturer warranty still applies usually, according to Microcenter.

I've personally never bought one of the open box items from Microcenter, but have read that people have negotiated down the price further if they bought an extended warranty. (meaning the extended warranty ends up being "free")

Don't click the "See Deal" button. Click the URL in OP's post. It says OLED on that URL.
