I own one of these and its great. Works wonderfully. And nice to see it next to my 20+ tp-link kasa bulbs, in the same app.

BUT I will not buy another one, as long as Wyze offers superior and free storage.

The catch is you only get 12 second clips, as often as every five minutes. So for every motion event, you get a 12 second clip until 5 minutes go by -if there is still motion, you get another clip.

The workaround is to put in a SD card. You still get the 12 second preview clips, and additionally can choose to record 24\7 to SD card, or to record 1-minute clips to SD card (continually) when motion is detected.

Wyze is $20 and has 14 day free storage, and accepts SD card.

I got one of these a few weeks ago for $35 at BHPhoto and have been very satisfied. Have not been prompted to sign up for a subscription, unlike Ring for example, and I still have every clip the camera has captured (about 9 days so far). All of my other smart devices are TP-Link, so it's all one app for me, and they basically play well with Alexa too.

That's Wyze limitation with 5 minute only?

Can Wyze record on 64GB card?

Yes wyze limits the 12 second clips to every 5 minutes, there's no way around it as far as I know. To be clear it only records a clip when there's motion, and it won't record another clip until 5 minutes have passed (assuming there is still motion).

Wyze officially says the cams only support 32gb microSD, but many users report successfully using larger sizes. Myself I am using a 64gb SanDisk card with no problems, it is properly recognized and has been in the camera for a few months. I have it set to record events only, not 24\7.

If you want to record 24\7 it's best to get one of the 'endurance' branded cards, they are specifically made to withstand the constant writing of data. Normal cards aren't made to survive that type of usage.
