We picked up a bunch of these licensed hooded towels from Kohl's last year, including the incredibles one. The quality was terrible. They roll it up with foam to make it seem thicker in the packaging when is really quite thin. The lint wouldn't stop coming off of them, even after several cycles in the washer and dryer. I had to re wash our toddler to get it off. Total waste of money.

FWIW, I bought one of these in July as a gift for my daughter (The Ariel one). We've used it every day since and the quality has been fine. It is a little thin, thinner than your average bath towel, but it does the job and she LOVES it. We didn't have the lint problem and it's been through the washer/dryer a few times.

I bought two. One it's frozen the other it's Mickey Mouse. The quality is so bad that I don't want my kids to use it. The color came off right away.

I've had the same experience. My boys have been using these for a couple years. They've tried other towels and always come back to this one. I think the fact that it's a thinner makes it easier for them to use as well. Ours are washed every few days and there have been no issues.

People for 5 bucks what do you expect? They are not your typical towel. A bit thin but ok for kids and the unique characters make kids love them. I bought the duck for my niece years ago. No problem with the lint and she is still using it. No holes or ripping, just faded and worn. Its time to replace it and just bought two that she is excited about. To me is a decent purchase.

Thanks OP! Got 3. Also thanks for all the reviews about these towels being thin, your reviews are very helpful, but for $5 each it's good to be an extra. Plus, I find the thin ones easier to pack in kids' swim bags.

My 4 year old son loves his Yoda bath wrap, uses it all the time. Yeah, it's a bit thin but still works fine for him as he doesn't want to be wrapped all that long anyways. My only gripe about it is that if they put both their hands into the hand pockets ("gloves"?) they are left exposed in the front - a designer could have thought that through better. There is no tie to prevent that either.
My 4 year old is a bit of a nudist anyways though so he doesn't seem to mind. We don't use it if company are around during bath time though.

Surprised this went FP when everyone basically admits the towels are cheap crap.
