My firstborn has pretty bad eczema, which seems to flare up during the summer. If you don't mind me asking, do your kids' eczema act up during certain times of the year too? Aquaphor is the only thing that helps, and we've tried everything.
Yes, I've noticed that the eczema conditions get worst when it's hotter, across all of my kids, especially at night when they're sleepy. Their bodies get really hot around nap time and bedtime, and that's when their skin starts getting rashy and they start scratching furiously. The A/C stays at 70* in our house at night. Imo, I believe eczema is an internal, allergic reaction of some sort that manifests outward and we see the effects on the surface/skin, instead of thinking if it strictly as a skin condition...

Thanks for your suggestions, but yes we have tried it and everything. Thank God he doesn't have diaper rash as well, but eczema is everywhere else. Our first 3 kids had eczema as well, but not this severe. It seems to be getting better at this point, as his skin isn't as inflamed and rashy anymore and we're now trying to manage the dryness.

Same with my kid. We use Eucerin with Aquaphor when it flared up badly, and apply Aquaphor heavily on her whole body twice a day and immediately after bath. We used up 4 Jars before she grew out of it. We still use it after bath regularly.

Getting a tattoo soon. Would this be any better or worse than the regular Aquaphor? This is what was recommended to me.
