75hz refresh rate for those interested. Might have to grab 2 of these at this price.

I bought two of these the last time they came around, and used them on three different computers.

Connected to my GTX 980 TI: Worked great, as expected. 75hz, no freesync (freesync not expected to work on 900 series).

RX 480 - freesync worked, but would only run at 60hz. Could never get it working at 75hz. Tried multiple cables, including the one that worked on the 980 TI. Actually tried on two different machines with a RX480, same result: 60hz only. Tried both monitors I received, same result. Tried googling the answer, only found product pages saying it works.

I don't regret paying $100 for these, but you may want to go another way if you really want 75hz to work, and you have an AMD GPU.

I bought this deal last year and the monitor is OK. Remember to turn off Smart Energy Saving mode in the settings. This is turned on by default and the screen will go dim after some time. This drove me nuts until I finally figured it out.

People say all this hz and those tech words.

I look at these monitors and see the same. Is there any real difference??

Or is it just bragging rights

I bought a viewsonic and had the same problem, I fix it by using dvi connection instead of hdmi.

Provided your computer can support these features, they do make a noticeable difference. I'm not sure how much difference you'd get going from the standard 60hz to 75hz but with my 120hz monitor it's quite noticeable especially if you compare it side by side with a slower monitor. Typically, people want higher hz for games but it also does make scrolling through websites much nicer. You get less blur when you scroll or move windows around.

As far as Freesync / G-Sync, at least for me, is one of those things you notice more when you go back to a monitor without it. I was a skeptic at first but after having one for my PC, it makes playing on my PS4 (it doesn't support this) a little less pleasurable.
