We've bought two from Costco. The first one lasted a couple years before the smoke literally came out. Brought it back to Costco and was promptly refunded. We replaced the first with the Bluetooth one (from Costco). While my experience is just that, my experience, I wouldn't buy anywhere other than Costco given the warranty. FWIW we use ours 4-5 times a week to make smoothies, so not heavy duty blending.
Yep only costco for me. Isn't e320 also 2.2hp. Looks almost the same except for middle knob. E320 is $280+tax when it's "on sale" almost every day lol.

Sierra opened a bunch of stores here in nj. Everything is outdated, old out of style or items that didn't sell well anywhere else, low end brands overpriced crap.

Warranty information isn't listed anywhere.

one COULD get 7500 refurb with 5yr warranty for $280 directly from Vitamix with $160 coupon code from some site.. (google "vitamix 7500 vs e320" the site was the first one on my search)

I am thinking that is better deal than this one IMHO.
Thank you, went with your suggestion! Reps on the way!

Costco's return policy doesn't require the original packaging or the original receipt. All products can be returned with or without a box. Certain items must be returned within 90 days of purchase, but, in general, Costco allows returns at any time and in any condition.
Costco is truly the best in this regard. I am sure many people take advantage of their lenience, but it's nice to have the peace of mind that they honor returns on faulty merchandise.

I bought an expensive Netgear Nighthawk router from them a few years ago, and literally a few days past its 1-year manufacturer's warranty, it just stopped working altogether. The signal kept dropping and nothing would connect to it, and the reset button stopped functioning. I tried to contact Netgear for support, and they wanted me to pay extra money *just* for access to their help desk/customer support via their website (which I found quite insulting). So I took it back to Costco, without the box or the receipt, and got my money back. They were so cool about it, and I called afterward to leave positive feedback for the staff because it was one of the nicest and most reassuring interactions I've had with returning something at a retail store.

FYI - I bought the Vitamix 5200 model from Costco about 3 years ago and I use it almost daily and it still hasn't given me any issues whatsoever. I haven't used this newer model but I can't recommend a Vitamix highly enough, it's been a true game-changer in my kitchen. Making banana nicecream has become a staple. I even use it for mixing simple things like Kodiak protein pancake batter and it saves a lot of time and cleanup.

With this version and the 7500 is it easy to make smaller batches? Or do you need to fill the entire jug

QQ: is this an old model?
No, its a newer model (2015) but it uses the Next Gen short/wide containers on the old school (classic) base. Meaning you won't get the newer Swedish motors with improved airflow and sound muffling.

Performance seems to be variable with these short/wide containers. But from my research it seems that the short/wide containers on old school base have inferior performance vs short/wide containers on next gen base or tall/narrow containers on old school base.

I went with the recertified 7500. "Pro" just means it has presets and its up to a $220 premium (even on recertified) for that privilege! Anything under two cups is "too small" for a short/wide container but I have my doubts since 64oz is ridiculously humungous. I don't want another splashing/sharting blender which requires scraping down the sides, so if it does that, back it goes as I'm not payng another $130 for a 48oz container. (The 32oz is !@#$ and will likely damage your base).

This is what the short/wide 64oz container looks like: https://i.postimg.cc/GtW7v0s3/scr...-46-37.png

I recently returned our Blendtec after 6 years of use to Costco. Needed a new blender since we use it everyday. Was planning on another Blendtec but the Vitamix E320 was on sale for $280 and decided to go with it. Haven't been disappointed and working better than my Blendtec. I didn't get the Vitamix in the past because the jar was too tall, but the new jars fit perfectly under the cabinets.

This deal is ok, but I'd go with Costco just for the return policy.

Did you need to hold on to the old box and receipt to return it?
