I bought the Chroma version of this mouse 3 years ago (10,000 DPI) excellent mouse, still using it right now.

I love my Deathadder, but just so people know this is NOT the best version of the Deathadder. This is 3500 dpi vs the 16,000 dpi of the Elite, and 5 programmable buttons vs. the 7 of the Elite. 3.5G infrared sensor vs. the 5G optical sensor of the Elite. Not making a value judgment for everyone here, just want to make sure people know what they are buying.

For comparison:

These are either fake or not US market. Packaging is off the last time I ordered, but mouse worked.

Does Razer still require you to create an account with them to use all the mice features?

Bought a razer mouse 3 years ago. Died on me after normal use and Razer just told me to buy another. Will never buy another product from them.

Deathaddera are nice when they work. But 2 of my past purchases died after 1 year of use. The mouse stopped registering clicks or would sometimes double click. I personally wouldn't recommend it if your plans are to use the mouse for much longer.

Got one of these 2 years ago on a similar deal. Like others have noted it's not the Elite version so it doesn't have all the bells and whistles. That said it's worked flawlessly for me for gaming and productivity.

Deathadders are great when they work, but I also have gone through at least 3 of them. Each lasted about a year before having double-clicking issues (casual CS:GO playing).

It's clearly subjective. Some people got the short end of the stick and/or misused the product; others have been happy with their purchase.
Life's a gamble. Gotta roll dem dice!!
...I personally don't need a mouse at the moment, but I will tell you that I received a VERY used wired Razer Deathstalker keyboard for free a few years ago and it has held up just fine with my limited use.

Yes! Unfortunately this mouse uses the "legacy"software and my keyboard uses the new software... So I have two separate versions running on my system. It kinda sucks

No, its a lesser known 3500 DPI version.

Just recently we had the far more advanced Chroma 16,000 DPI verison go for $34.

In this case, you get what you pay for.
