4g of those carbs are sugar alcohol, and another 2g are fiber. So it's really only 11g carbs, depending upon how your body handles maltitol.

These are one of the few protein bars at this price point to use whey instead of soy protein, so I enjoy them. The peanut butter and chocolate ones taste just like the "Tagalong" Girl Scout cookies to me (and they're only ~8.5g net carbs each). Chocolate is not bad, but not really delicious either. Haven't tried chocolate chip.

17g carb 20g protein. Carbs do seem a little high, but I think it's going to be tough to find less carbs with the same protein at the same price point.

A heads up: good price for 18-pack but keep in mind that Chocolate Deluxe is pure garbage. Not eatable at all.

I purchased all flavors of these. I got some quests coming in to compare. The only biggest downside I see for pureprotein bars are no fiber but bar with fiber is a bit more pricey. The quest deal on the front page includes fiber for about 1.20 per bar. Not too bad. I'll see how they taste then they come in.

They are gluten free and aren't soy based. I eat one for breakfast. They work for me at this price. Thanks OP!

Decent price, but my last order came all melted here in ga. These actually stick to the plastic when they are melted unlike other bars like quest

Any one knows how much these are at Costco? They have a 21 pack there that ships for $22.50 but it should be cheaper in the warehouse

Obviously not in the same price league but my wife and I are pretty hooked on the Kirkland Protein Bars at ~$20 for 20 of em.

21g Whey / Milk Protein - 15g of Fiber - Ingredients that aren't too terrifying - Texture... well it's got the texture of a extruded power bar with some chocolate chips in it but you can't win everything.

If you haven't tried em give em a go sometime.

My last shipment came in melted too. Never had this problem in 6-8 months of having them on monthly S&S. Maybe these sat in a hot truck too long?

For what it's worth, the chewy chocolate chip are my favorite. Peanut butter are ok, and the chocolate deluxe are a last resort.
