why would you take the PC apart again? Just start the refund, order the new case, wait for the new case to arrive, send the new case back with the old case refund request. It's not like those cases are serialized.
Totally! Had a pair of boots drop in price by $40. Asked for a match, they said no. I asked, so if I order a new pair and return these we would be fine? They said yes.

Got the 2nd set of boots, checked they were right. Sent the 2nd set of boots right back.

Here is a review,

https://youtu.be/4NaS-iw01T8

TLDW, not recommended versus other microphones in the same price range. (50 to 60)

But after watching this video, this isn't a bad microphone at all, especially at this sale price.

I use a q2u for voiceover/screencasting.

I saw a couple other reviews that liked the microphone as well as that video you posted. Not sure if some are skewed by paid reviews or what. I think the price for what you get looks to be good. Can definitely get better stuff for more obviously.

I know many of you are jumping all over this. But these desk-mount mic kits have been regularly available at around $15 or less. I can't vouch for the tone quality on this or other various brands of similar sets. I got an urlhasbeenblocked, with similar specs, including XLR connection, 1/4" adapter, phantom power supply (which I didn't need) that performs well for spoken word, not bad for vocals, for under $10 a couple of years ago. I don't see anything in this one that would make me go for it at $40-$50. It would have to be a whole lot better. Wait these out if you're not pressed. It's probably worth the money if you're producing right now and lack a mic. But, these kits have prices that are time fluid. $25 or under is probably slick this year. Wait them out if you don't need it today.

The boom stand is garbage. Will scar a wood desk and doesn't support much more than the cheap plastic-bodied microphones. I picked one up about a year ago as a standalone item, and was disappointed. The mic I have no experience with, but I had a buddy try out one of their standard condenser mics and he said it was about the worst microphone he's ever used. That was running it through a nice preamp and interface also.

When it comes to recording and audio equipment, you get what you pay for. They include a boom arm and pop filter, which are probably about half of the cost of this bundle, if that helps put the actual value of this mic in perspective. That's not to say that there aren't deals out there to be found, but I would personally stay away from this one.

I've got no experience with this setup, but you're probably better off getting a Blue Snowball.
That may be true. Definitely the Yeti would beat this. It's probably a halfway decent mic for the price since it comes with the boom arm too, if that's something people want. Most of the combos like that have been for XLR mics that have an XLR to 1/8in stereo headphone jack cable, which makes no sense really. So I would say this deal is better than those. However, the Amazon reviews seem really fake/sponsored on this item. There are some pretty cheesy video reviews that seem like someone was definitely paid to make them.

I messaged them and they said they don't see it on the website so they won't price match. Then they asked me where I saw the promotion and asked to send a screenshot, which I did within 2 minutes. The customer service agent said she got the screenshots but she doesn't see it on the website so they can't price match. I asked her if she received my screenshots, to which she replied yes she had. I asked her does she see the promotion and the code on my screenshots, to which she replied yes she had. so I asked how can you say you don't see it on your website, when you asked me to provide you screenshots and you verify you received the screenshots and you do see the promotion on the screenshots? I just told her to forget it she is obviously either dense or pretending to be, so I will just go through the hassle of returning the one I bought when it arrives tomorrow and reordering it today.

Edited for grammatical errors
If lucky enough to see them tell them not to leave it or cancell before delivery if it's a option

FWIW I received mine and I'm pleasantly surprised with everything. People are complaining about the arm, I see no issues with it at all. Time will tell if I change my opinion. The mic itself is pretty good as well. Does it compare to the SM-7's I use daily in our $30k studio? NOPE, but I expected that lol. The mic is more then enough for almost everyone. I got this to record my own stuff, podcasts, IGTV and other things mainly to practice for my job as a producer and co host of a much bigger show. Thanks again for posting.

USB mics are a great way to learn to hate windows 10.
Help out here looking at this so my son can "play YouTube". Anyway. I know nothing about this. I sb seems like a sweet way to go. If I go the budget condenser rout how does it hook up to the computer? Do I need an clean cable that goes to a head phone jack or something?
