Has anyone had any experience ordering from their site as opposed to their eBay store?

ONLY order through EBAY with them! you will get the item with no issues that way plus you have ebay backing you as well which they will never try to upsell you on Ebay.. their ebay store from the few times I looked was almost always more then their own site, but I could be wrong on this item.. if it's 1899 for a 65c9 that is the lowest thus far..

They will call you after you place an order and require you to purchase "shipping insurance" which seems to be around 7-7.5% the cost of the item. They state that they cannot calculate it in advance, due to the size and zip code. Shady tactics. Here is the garbage they refer to, on their website [firstclasstvs.com] eBay seems the only way to go if you're buying from FirstClassTVs.

BEWARE!

I placed an order for a TV with firstclasstv yesterday; last night I received a call from them saying I had to pay $147 for MANDATORY shipping insurance. Not only is this in itself a dealbreaker since it reveals the character of the seller, when I pushed back they informed me the carrier would be AM Trucking. I encourage anyone considering buying from firstclasstv to first take a look at the reviews for amtrucking on yelp or resellerratings; if the deceptive and probably illegal business practices of firstclasstv are not enough to dissuade you from doing business with them, then the horrible reviews of their chosen carrier will be.
