Do you vacuum up urine a lot? I never have in my life....

I bought my Shark refurbished from my local Big Lots store for $70, and I am happy with it. The advantage of buying it in a B&M store is that you can look at it, and apparent faults would jump out right away. Also, returns are easier to B&M stores than with a Woot purchase.

TU on this deal anyway, as at this price it's probably worth the risk.

Thanks. I'm going to order. I did the newegg one, but it smelled horrible. Sending it back. Entire vacuum smelled like a wet dog. It was disgustting.

Haven't bought anything from Woot in years. For those of you who have bought "scratch and dent" stuff from them lately, does that mean used condition? Clean returns?

This does not appear to be a model that Shark manufactures anymore, which worries me a little.

Went to buy one and can't get thru checkout. Just keeps cycling during checkout.

I bought this model refurbed from newegg a couple of years ago, it was a great vacuum, if a little heavy, and then died about 2 years later. It wasn't bad for two years, paid like $50 back then, but still probably should have lasted longer.

Expect to receive a used vacuum with a dirty filter if you're willing to take that risk and clean it

Bought this model off of Newegg a few years ago refurb for $55. Still works and looks like brand new. YMMV I suppose.

I normally stay away from refurbished laptops or any personal electronics in general. But refurbished stuffs usually go through a second round of QA which makes it better plus you save a lot - IMO

Grabbed one the last time it was around this price. It was in perfect condition and had clean filters. Still runs like a champ.
