FYI.

This laptop is listed on Amazon as a 14" in the title description. However, if you scroll down, you will see that it is described as 13.3". The BH website lists this as Manufacturer No. NX.H3ZAA.001. The Amazon website lists this as Model No. SF313-51-57EQ. The Acer.com website [acer.com] matches both of these numbers up to the same identical product.

Not a good choice for image processing.
Do you have a different recommendation? What would you consider the minimal specs I should consider. Currently I've been using my acer chromebook so clearly I don't need a ton. I have a travel blog so I'm not processing images for print but I do shoot in RAW so my images are large.

What software do you use? Normally image processing software needs good CPU Processing power, high capacity ram and a moderate GPU for smooth and faster editing. Let me know the software you use, budget and form factor and weight of the laptop you're looking for.

I was confused for the fan noise graph on notebookcheck. How to read it?

If I had the money, I'd totally jump all over this. It's very rare to see a 13" build with a decent processor that's not super expensive.

I use Lightroom and Adobe Bridge. I forgot to mention, I would ugrade the ram if I were to buy this.. I have the money to spend up to $1000 but I don't want to because I travel a lot on cheap buses in Latin America and the theft rate is high. Of course, I've never had an issue... As far as weight, a light as possible but I'd consider anything under 4lbs of course. Weight is important but I prefer a decent size screen. Right now my chromebook is a 14" and I wonder if I'd enjoy a 13" though I'm open to it.

Sorry I said I would upgrade the ram and then remembered it's not available on this one. Getting them confused!

Same Processor, entry level dedicated Graphics, Ram upgradable to 32GB. Also, it is pretty light and comes in 14" form factor, neither small nor too big like a 15.6". The display quality is pretty good, almost 100% sRGB and over 70% Adobe RGB.

Not their fault as they started charging tax n my state as well. Most of the state governments are now forcing the stores to charge tax even if they don't have a physical footprint in that state. I think now only Adorama not charging tax.

Anyone compare this to this deal? Specs look the same so come down to branding and durability. Any experience?

DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP

I bought it for my parents, they use it for basic tasks like banking, facebook, and creative writing. I thought it would be decent laptop for them considering the price and specs. After 1 month of use it refused to boot. I looked every where online and found that this is a common issue. Most suggested to try a "battery disconnect" by using the pin to press and hold a button on the bottom. No luck, it just won't boot. No LED indicators, no screen, nothing!
