I have had poor luck with lexar, but I heard micron sold them a little while ago. Maybe they are better now?

For a UHS-1 rated card, that's regular pricing.
Microcenter's same price any day https://www.microcenter.com/product/485234/64gb-microsdxc-class-10-uhs-1-flash-memory-card#photogroup
(Not to mention their 128GB MicroSD card is only $13.99, 256GB $27.99.)

They had the 500gb lexar for $74 direct from Amazon, for labor day. I scoffed at paying $445 for the 1tb samsung sdcard.

Wyze doesn't make outdoor cams, maybe know what you're talking about before you reply.
They may not be "outdoor" cams but they can easily be used outdoor as I have 3 Wyze cam v2s outdoors right now using housings you can find on amazon

UHS-1 doesn't really mean much. Look at the actual speed. Microcenter is 22.5 MB/s vs Lexar at 100MB/s

I had two of these but higher capacity (64gb), both bought at same time. One got busted in about 6 months. Warranty claim was such a hassle and CS unresponsive I just gave up.

The other one though is still doing good in dashcam after almost two years.

Take it whatever you want from this but I would never buy Lexar cards.

Lexar is total ass, I had two of these cards (larger size) fail in under two weeks on my blackvue dashcam. Sandisk running strong for half a year...
This card is NOT designed for constant write/rewrite. High Endurance cards are designed for that purpose.

No use a high endurance card.
Yep, need a deal on a high endurance for my dashcam and only seeing regular or high speed deals right now.

Setup some alerts, or chances are, you won't catch 'em

Lexar (using the 64gb model since they didn't test 32gb: 98/28.9 seq, 7.8/1.2 4Kq32
MC: 76.1/16.7, 7.9/1.7

So depends on priorities and use - fast seq read/write for large media files?
Fast random for smaller files in phones and such?

No matter, in both categories, there's faster cards available should that be the utmost priority.

Keep in mind that if a camera needs a U1 speed card for 4K video, for example, and you buy and use a card that performs faster - there's NO performance difference vs other U1 cards in that camera. The camera can't make use of faster performance - ie. It's already writing as fast as its hardware can and needs to.

A phone can make use of it because they usually depend on random read/write performance, and the cards available today do not make full use of the card slot bandwidth. A faster card for r/w in this case will make a difference since 4kQ32 writes on the fastest microsd cards currently can't even exceed 5MB/sec, which is far far slower than any memory slot controller.

If your Wyze is indoor I'd say yes. Outdoor, go with SanDisk Ultra or Samsung
Use and endurance SD card.

Huh? I use two of mine outdoors. They have held up just fine even with our harsh winters.
