The following are eligible for this promotion and are made by NWS in Germany for Irwin:

Long needle nose pliers:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N3VS...PDKIKX0DER

Diagonal high leverage cutters for hard-wire:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N3VS...X0DER&th=1

Lineman's pliers:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N3VS...PDKIKX0DER

The 8" version of the needle nose and two longest offerings on the lineman's pliers are also eligible. The lanyards for these seem to be NWS compatible as well.

I've got the NWS-made Irwin ergo pliers from this series and find them to be on par with my many Knipex pliers in terms of build quality. The cutting edge hardness is awesome. The piano-wire claim is legit.

China is capable of producing some quality products, however when Stanley Black&Decker moved Irwin tool production there they relied on the once-good name for sales while letting quality slip a lot. The last vise-grip style clamp I bought was actually worse than what one can get from HF for less than half the price.

Too bad to hear. Vice grips and clamps were the only tools by Irwin I've been collecting.

Thanks for the links to the high quality German made Irwins. I used to pick them up occasionally from the big box stores but hadn't seen them on the shelf for years and incorrectly figured they were no longer available. Good to know they are still around.

make sure you use a price history tool - a lot of prices were lower a week ago.

I got the wire stripper / cutting tool a few years ago on Amazon for 7 or 8 bucks. For household stuff like cutting and stripping 12 and 14 gauge wire for swapping outlets and switches and whatnot it gets the job done.

So is your cell phone, your TV, and 3/4 of the appliances in your kitchen.
