These are awesome performing knives, no matter how cheap they feel.

Dead. Pretty good deal as they sell for $8 each on Amazon. I have a bunch of Victorinox kitchen knives, but this particular one sucks. Feels super cheap compared to the rest of the line.

Too expensive anyway.
Care to share where I can get this brand cheaper, missed out on this deal and prefer these knives over others.

I have one of these and I don't particularly like it either. It feels flimsy and the blade is very soft and bendy, maybe this is something other people look for in a paring knife, but I prefer a more rigid blade. I'd rather just pay more for something that I have more confidence in.

Sam's Club sells a set of 4 paring knives for $7.68. I've had a set for years and they are excellent. They're the ones with white, rugged handles, like the ones many professional cooks use.

This. I bought two packs and they are the same as the bulk commercial kitchen knives I used when I worked in a dining hall. Victronix are great knives but for paring knives I don't mind going cheap.

You can pretty much sharpen any metal to a crazy sharp cutting edge, but if you just want a long lasting one without sharpening

Ceramics do well. For fruits, you can go years before they dull.

I have one of these and they're great. Feels cheap, yes, but wonderful for small knife work, easy to sharpen to a fine edge with little skill, and super light. I tend to like a bit more sturdiness in my knife and a bit more weight, but honestly, this is a superior knife to MANY I own. Great deal!
