Don't sleep on Beyond the Black Rainbow if you like dark, visionary, trippy films with heavy synth scores. From the same director as Mandy.

You can play them through a Windows PC connected to your TV.

HDMI only, I'm guessing. Nothing like Chromecast?

I wish amazon would price match.
FYI, I believe The Running Man is available for free rental with Prime membership

I'm surprised nobody here has mentioned The Last Starfighter. Great 80's movie and Craig Safan's score is amazing.

Way. Ruins its time - they had to tone down all the digital scenes because it was going to take 18 months just for the computer to render

Just purchased Starfighter along with Thinner, Pet Sematary, The Shining, Running Man and a handful of others including the Abyss (SD only 4:3 Picture) from Vudus Disc to Digital service last night. Starfighter UPC showed as either $2 for the SD version or $5 for the HDX, same price here.
I'm puzzled by James Cameron not at least having the Abyss in letterbox, the trailer is 16:9, the movie is 4:3. Or how about a Blu-ray upgrade. As a fan of Sci-fi, and a scuba diver, I thought that it was a decent movie. Oh well, have not seen the movie in years and for $2 for the SD version, I bit.

Most of these titles can be had for $2 per plus tax via Vudu's Disc 2 Digital/Mobile 2 Digital program/app.

Are any of these movies anywhere near good?
The Last Starfighter was revolutionary in terms of concept.

Can I grab these and load to Plex? Are they compatible? I can't tell from the website or the comments.
