LG is not the only OLED player anymore
Who else is selling OLED tvs in the US?

(hint: sony doesn't count- they buy their OLED panels from LG)

I'm hopeful for BF timing. There is a surplus of these plus they can now produce faster than they can sell. And of course, dun dun dun ..... recession.
the holiday buying season will be very telling re: consumer confidence in the economy. with that said, we don't need a recession for this TV to come down. You could probably get it cheaper around Super Bowl time. I personally couldn't wait that long but if you can, stay strong brother!

G-Sync tech incoming for the c9 and e9 (b9 at a later date)

Another great reason to get them over the other options if you're a pc gamer

The only tv in the world to support G-Sync

I was reading that the 2019 models can play 4K at 120hz. Can anyone confirm if this model can?
I have a 65" B7 and it can only do 4K at 60hz/1080P at 120hz.

I can see the 77" c8 being $2500-3000 but I can't see the c9s being under $3k this black friday unless it's an in store ymmv offer. With my state incurring sales tax, many deals just aren't as slick these days.

As for me, I'll be waiting a while. I need the 77" c9 model to get to $2000 or a 100" OLED model to be <$5k or the top rated 4k projector under $4k before I buy another TV or projector.

Yes, it can. But there's no content out in that format yet. It's supported as a part of HDMI 2.1 (update supports 120hz refresh for 4K, vs 60hz in HDMI 2.0). HDMI 2.1 requires a 2.1 compatible cable, TV (check), and media/source device.

Not that it actually matters in any way to the actual warranty.

4K @ 120hz is for PC gaming; this is a format that is achievable now with a high-end gaming system.
