How is a $5 gift card that can be used on anything worse than (not then) a $1 digital credit?

Math on the three size options, with "net" per oz cost if you choose to account for the $5 card as an artificial rebate:

4.2oz * 3 is 12.6oz, for $8.37 w/$5 card, 26.7¢/oz "net"

11oz * 3 is 33oz, for $14.97 w/$5 card, or 30¢/oz "net"

14.6oz * 3 is 43.8oz, for $16.47 w/$5 card, or 26.1¢/oz "net"

IMO, they're both bad. But the $5 GC requires getting up, driving some miles to a Target, wasting at least 40 minutes of my time (15 mins. one-way, add an additional 10 for waiting in line and/or extra traffic). Not worth a $5 GC, unless there is a Target a within 2-3 miles.

Digital credits are useless for me too, especially since they have an expiration.
Wow, I have two Target stores within 5 minutes, pick up has never taken more than a few minutes with dedicated pickup areas. They've even started with special parking spaces where you don't even have to get out of the car, though don't use that myself.

I prefer pickup myself so I get out of the house. I started avoiding Amazon for that reason.

I actually prefer to pickup also so my lazy ass gets more mobile.

Any recommendations for the fancier shampoos/conditioners? I've always used the cheapest(Moisture Rich), but after trying a non-Tres shampoo that cost ~the same and liking it more than my TR shampoo, I'm curious if Tres has better stuff.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck with Target/Tres since I have a lot of giftcard$ from Target routinely having this exclusive deal on/with/for Tres. My hair has no special needs, nor do I do anything to it but run it through a straightener a lil when I wake up (I'm a guy, middle-back length hair).

Not worth it. Go to walmart.com and 11oz hair spray 2 pack is $9 and it can be shipped. If you buy the same volume, you end up buying a $5 target gift card for $2.74 which is $2.26 saving. For me it would have to be more significant saving to go into a store, stand in line for pick up. $2.26 in GC is just not enough for gas and time.

I have a target in walking distance and find it inconvenient. On the shelf every item is more than online so going to the store takes forever if I want to pick up anything else as I have to check every item price online. Cart wheel etc.
