I always appreciate Vudu deals when they're posted. I look through them at least. It seems Vudu has a list of sale titles every week, and it's very rare I find anything I want to buy. The problem is I'm so used to getting free Vudu credits or D2D/M2D for $2 each in the past. For physical Blurays I'd be all over ones I don't have at $5 each, but digital-only movies (especially ones that don't port anywhere) at $5 each feel like less of a deal to me. I think I'm in the minority on this view as $4.99 seems to be the standard Vudu sale price most people buy at.

I looked and thought others may ask the same question. I don't think any of these are MA.

I think people are getting more used to paying $5 for digital as more and more people begin to prefer streaming over physical, but for many of us who got used to $5 blu/dvd/digital combo packs it's still hard to pay $5. It's even harder for people who (ab)use the md2d and are used to paying $2 for digital.

At this point, a movie has to be good and rare (and not md2d) for me to pay $5, although we're getting more and more 4k deals which changes things

Yeah, I liked it a lot and would recommend it. However, I've seen it a couple times and probably wouldn't watch it again any time soon.

FWIW, it's a $3.99 rental almost anywhere in HD, so $4.99 for the 4K purchase is a great deal.

Definitely! Should note that it's from the same writer as Sicario, he directed this as well. If you enjoyed Sicario but haven't watched this, go do it.

new to Vudu and UHD ... my amp isn't HDCP 2.2, so if I get a Roku Ultra, i'd have to use HDMI ARC to get everything working right?

Wind River is a great movie and I'd love a good UHD transfer. 🤞

Yep. Both Jake Gyllenhaal and Michelle Monaghan are pretty good in that movie and spot on the characters.
