Monkfruit is actually a natural sweetener and a lot of people who are doing low or no sugar use it for baking, etc. If you're not used to it, it does leave a weird aftertaste! That's probably what you're tasting. Smilie

Warning! The "lower sugar" has monkfruit(?) or something that is supposedly natural but tastes like an artificial sweetener. So if you don't want that Diet Coke feeling on your tongue while eating your breakfast, skip it. I don't like how they hide those weird sweetener ingredients now, and make it seem like all they did was "reduce" the sugar.

I recommend buying the plain oatmeal, and flavoring it yourself with nuts, fruit, cinnamon, honey, sugar, etc.

In 4 1.

It seems that S&S can not be shipped to an amazon locker, so I paid 30 cents extra for a normal purchase and to get it delivered to a locker near by me.

Just know that oat products are treated with Roundup weed killer (glyphosate) Not saying that is a bad thing, just a FYI. Organic oats are even sometimes contaminated with glyphosate because the wind carries the herbicide from adjacent crop fields.
