I purchased one set yesterday, then today 9/12/2019 purchased another set with code 36NXH29W even though slickdeals says the deal is off. But the total was $12.94 and not 11.98.

It seems you can use the code one time a day. Today the price for me was back to $11.98

Added another set to the ones I already have. Not being able to check whether they're fully charged or not, or how much charge they have remaining is annoying, but they can be used in devices that cut out early when using NiMH batteries (because NiMH aren't actually 1.5v, and the voltage drops further during use). For Xbox controllers getting an official Play and Charge kit is probably a better idea, really (since those are also lithium ion but purpose built to work with controller battery level checking), but these do work if you don't care about having no warning before your controller dies, and are cheaper.

For anything where you don't need to know it's about to die or where you'll periodically charge the batteries anyway, these have their use if it's something that gets finicky with NiMH batteries, so long as it's not a high drain device (like a flash). Note that the rating on these is in mWh, rather than mAh (what's normally shown on batteries, due to the non constant voltage), so don't assume they're higher capacity: if anything they're a bit lower than most regular NiMH (and I don't know if anyone has done hard testing on whether these get their rated capacity yet). The constant voltage can make them effectively last longer in some devices, though: sometimes a lot longer in certain devices.

Basically, if you know you need something like this (Blink cameras, etc) they're worth a shot. If you're not sure, stick to NiMH or, if it's available for the device, pay a bit more for something purpose built (Xbox play and charge) that gives battery monitoring.

For non-Prime members, this shipped free the last two times it was here, as the sole item in the cart, i.e., without reaching the Amazon $25 free shipping threshold.
Thanks for the tip about free non-Prime shipping.
And thanks to the OP. In for one.

So that I understand these batteries work great with blink cameras and other type of cameras like Smart stuff like motion etc I'm just scared because of the investment that I have.

Got these from the last time they were on SD. Can attest that these are excellent batteries, especially for toys due to the sustained 1.5V. Only downside is there is no AAA size available with Li+

I wish some of these lithium sets came with AAA instead of AAs. I have a million AAs already.

Agree, you should be skeptical. I've seen some comments on these batteries that are way too positive to be believable.

Should we be skeptical about the brand or the seller or both?
