Lithium nominal chemistry is 3.7 V. These batteries basically have a voltage regulation circuit to discharge providing 1.5 V, which is what non rechargeable alkaline AA are supposed to provide. NiMH are typically 1.2 and some devices can't handle the lower voltage. If the flash can handle either 1.2 or 1.5, the question is how much energy is in the battery (how many flashes it can do before needing charging) and and how fast can it be drained without damaging the battery.

Note that it clearly states (NOT FOR CAMERA FLASH USE) so i would not recommend these for a camera flash.

Eneloops are awesome, but they don't sustain 1.5 volts continually. These do. These are LiPos Buck circuit downrated to 1.5 volts constant. There are some applications where these are perfect...like outdoor weather sensors that eat Lithium Primaries every 6 weeks.

For non-Prime members, this shipped free the last two times it was here, as the sole item in the cart, i.e., without reaching the Amazon $25 free shipping threshold.

Using these in my blink camera right now. Due to high traffic, the original battery lasted 6 months. So far these been running for two months. Look like a good deal to me.

Same. These high voltage batteries are necessary for Blink, so I grab a set every time they let me use the coupon. Works fine in Xbox controllers too.

These batteries are also excellent for wireless freezer transmitters. NiMH is no good at -10°F, you need a lithium chemistry. These batteries will also not over-discharge and ruin themselves like Eneloops or other NiMH cells will, which makes them excellent for people who want to use rechargeable batteries but don't know all the ins and outs.

These don't work for nest smoke detectors. The battery lasts only a day...

Dang, unlike some of the last codes you can only order 1 item with the coupon. Love these batteries. I've used them in my RC vehicle controllers, weather stations, clocks, well, everything except kids toys. I put the crappy store brand alkalines in there so they die more often, lol.

I've got eight of these batteries now and they work great so take the negative reviews with the grain of salt
