Should it trigger concern that there are 4,000 refurbished units available?
That would seem to indicate 4,000 people had problems.
Great price, and kinda want to pull trigger but whenever I see mass quantities of refurbished available, it definitely gives me pause.

From reviews these seem to sound good, but many reported reliability issues after a few months, which is outside of the 1 month return period...

I own this headphones. Don't buy this, save your money

Pros
Comfort and sound (especially for rock or electronic music) is good
Noise canceling (NC) can cut some noises, but I not compared this pair with Bose or Sony WH-1000-XM3

Cons
Bluetooth - unstable connectivity and I can't use mic with Windows 10
You can still use mic with wired connection

Man I want to get these but refurb headhpones kind of gross me out. Dead skin, ear wax, hairs, etc. Do they replace any of the parts that touch your ears on refurbs?

Good for the price. They aren't the best looking worn, however. Princess Leia-ish.
Ha. If you think these give you the Princess Leia look, you should see my AKG K550. Smilie

Great price. Bought 700 elite refurbished last year at the same price.
Same here. The 700 sound great. I would buy these if I didn't already have the previous gen.

I went thru 4 pairs of these. The solder connection are weak. I got tired of sending them in and getting replacements that only last a few months. Not recommended
I found Pioneer Model se-ms7bt to be superior in sound and comfort. they also support atp-x for android and more importantly AAC codec if you're on the iPhones like me.
If you need Noise canceling the Pioneer SE-MS9 series have noise canceling, but the noise canceling isn't as good as the Bose. Amazon finally carried the MS9 series. I had to order mine from eBay seller in Japan. LOL

3.3 star Amazon review average is horrible, sort by most recent reviews and you'll see why there were 4,000 refurbished units available.

Bloody Refurbs aren't $299 you SickDeals.
You know how many more of these will sell when they lie about the MSRP?

This site caters to the impulsive and the addictive. I've noticed that people here will usually go into "buy-first / think-later mode" the second a deal pops up that is over 75% off. This reaches that point.

Kinda like how they take half a day to take down expired deals from certain sites. They get a commission for every single click thru.

They absolutely suck. Do not buy these. The .microphone has a lot of glitches. Pairing is pain sometimes
