Not an Apple fanboi by any means, nor a n00b, nor brainwashed. I do believe my iPhone Xs Max should be good for another few years, or in Apple-speak, farkteen new phone products. laugh out loud

What's wrong with it? I don't follow iPhones too closely since I have always used Android but was considering one for my next phone.

I am disappointed with the new (regular) iPad though, still an A10. I was holding off on buying because I was hoping they'd give it a new SoC soon.

The only real improvement is the new camera (although it's a nice improvement). No USB-C, no 5G, no 120hz display, etc. Still 64GB storage on a $1000 phone. Nothing wrong with it (as iPhones go), but nothing all that impressive either.

The base iPad is competing on price, so don't expect it to ever get anything but the bare minimum updates. Look at the Air or a used 10.5" Pro if you want something more capable.

Overpriced hardware that locks you into a closed ecosystem that is a poor attempt at dumbing down and copying other software as apposed to cheaper hardware that runs open ecosystems with open source software that drives the marketplace and innovation for the rest of the world. Apple is dead.

You know what's just as annoying as apple cultists?

Android spectards. Greatest (highly debatable at that, at least when it comes to SoC) hardware with fractured OS with proven shitty upgrade path is worse than mediocre hardware with 5+ years of OS upgrades.
