499.99 plus 9.99 shipping

specs are good. keep in mind this is the 3000 series, which is Dell's budget model. battery life will be poor, and no backlit keyboard.

$500 + $10 Shipping + Tax for those who care. The Inspiron 3000 series is a very cheap build. The price should be under $400, even with these upgraded specs.

With 512 SSD and 12gb ddr4. I beg to differ find that in a touchscreen with those upgrades even close to 400. I respect your opinion and all but the numbers dont agree.

10th gen? Is that even out yet? I wonder how benchmarks compare to the i5 8250U I see in most $500-600 laptops.

I don't see where it says "backlit keyboard". Hopefully, it having a touchscreen is not a typo either. EEK!

No ips, which is a deal breaker for me.

Also, eagerly awaiting benchmarks on the new integrated graphics.

Lastly, anybody who needs 512gb on their laptop better have a strong backup strategy.
That's a lot of data to put at risk, and this isn't a gaming laptop, even with the new graphics.

I know clock speed isn't indicative of performance, but 1GHz seems awful.

LOL true.. however that is base frequency which on a laptop you want low. here is the real specs are it can turbo up to 3.6 ghz
