Is this any different from the one on Amazon that's new and $1 less?

I have gone through about 6 edge and I'm on my second 3200. They all have that issue. The headset is supposed to filter out background noise but it seems to amplify those sounds over my voice. Something could be going on in another room and people complain about it. Yesterday I put the ac in the car on max and the person on the phone asked what was all that rumbling.

3200 vs edge

I bought a few edges from Amazon around 20. Can connect to phone and PC at the same time. Amazing.

Gotcha, looks like the same product with a few tweaks. I like the edge I have (I've had a few of them) except that it seems to amplify certain sounds rather than filter them. If I turn on the water to fill a glass or wash my hands, whoever I'm on the phone with tells me it's unbearably loud. Same with anything remotely crinkly. I wonder if they've improved that issue.
Other than perhaps improved range, I think the edge does everything on that article's list as well.

Boom mic's like this are TONS better than the types that have the mic by your ear. I'v own about 5 like this (over MANY many years) and probably tried and discarded about another 5 of the non-boom ones since they didn't work as well for picking up my voice.
