Did you try redeeming it? I've redeemed many codes that were a year or more "expired".
followed instruction to go to uphe.com/redeem and said code expired.

redeem via iTunes and it worked thanks to user gkwong's suggestion

I watched this movie without knowing that it was stop-motion and thought that it was good, but not great. Once I found out it was stop-motion, I was blown away by how realistic the stop-motion was.

That having been said, should how a movie is made influence what I think of it? Is a good movie a great movie because the technique used to make it was more difficult? Would The Lego Movie have been a better movie if they had actually made it with stop-motion instead of pretending that it was stop-motion?
Choices. Filmmaking is making a choice and going through with the decision to the highest standard.

You're not wrong.
Just look at the most recent laika movie, Missing Link, which was a huge flop.
I own the first 3 laika movies on 3d and like them, but Missing Link looked like it easily could've been replicated in CGI and looked better.
I love stop-motion, but we have now reached the point where computers can do better "stop-motion" even better than the real thing.
I think for SM to work it needs to retain its unrefined look. It needs to look naturally imperfect.

Laika studios is owned by the founder of Nike, so I'm sure they will get over the Missing Link flop, but if their next movie flops, I think SM is more or less dead

This movies shows as unavailable on Amazon Prime Video and not for sale on Vudu or Google Play.

If I bought this and redeemed the code on iTunes would I then be able to use Vudu or Prime Video to watch it. OR would I have to watch it on iTunes?
I see that it's an MA movie but this situation is still confusing to me.

edit: ok maybe this is not a MA movie. I see the icon at the bottom of the Vudu page but not on MA websited
