Should probably add the price to the Title, before the thumb down squad comes a knocking

Unless the bike costs $2,019 Smilie

Good luck finding a rigid bike these days - it isn't 1995. Also, 20% is standard discounting for the most part with different MSRPs given to different dealers depending on volume.

You want 50-55% off which is achievable on last year's stock which is the level of discount I have always been able to get on road and mountain bikes since 1995 if you know where to look.

Of course, at the bottom-ish end of the market like this, you won't see that discount but a 50% off $750 MSRP bike would be much nicer than this one.

Better yet, do some research and buy used! Bikes are heavier than ever before and imho not necessarily better for it.

32+ pounds...that's definitely on the heavy side. Might be good as an entry level bike but that's it

This seems super cheap for a cannondale but the specs make me think it's a Luke-warm deal. Thoughts?

True however it's worth buying since REI has such a great return policy. Having a entry level Cannondale is better than an off brand.

At this price point, you really shouldn't be buying a bicycle with any suspension.

Well this is my 1st real Bike as an adult and i thought it was an OK deal. I bought the Costco Infinity Hybrid, but no matter what i did, it wasn't comfortable. Figure i go up a little and try this one out. With REI, I got a year for a test drive, Better than me Installation, and a second tune up coming (within 6 months). To each their own. I couldn't do a Dicks or Walmart bike no matter how many i tried. Hope this one works out.

A hard tail is fine. I wouldn't buy a full suspension bicycle though.
