Would be interesting to see what the mobile carriers are going to offer in terms of deals. T-Mobile used to have great rebate offers at Costco for the last gen iPhones, but I recall recently that they've eliminated the iPhone 6 and the rebate amount has gone down.

Best bet is to see what Sam's and Costco do in the month of November with their deals. Pro move is to WAIT until then. Plus, sell the old phone yourself on craigslist or via local channels - you will get more than the bs that Apple is offering.

When Steve Jobs died, I told some coworkers that he must've had about a decade of plans in the vault.

Well, we're getting close to a decade, and it looks like the vault is drying up.

That new iPhone looks like I could use it to give myself a comprehensive eye exam. Wonder if it does dilation. Freekin' Hideous.

Looks like my 6s Plus has to squeak out at least another year.

I don't need a new camera.
Here is what I would like to see any manufacturer release in a new phone:
- Won't break the screen if you drop it
- Very durable. No case needed
- New radio chip resulting in no dropped calls or robo-voice
- Sized for one handed operation
- Headphone jack
- Bluetooth with DECT 6.0 quality and range

Don't think the first request is that easy. It's like asking car manufacturers to make the bodies dents proof. Well I guess one manufacture (Saturn) did back then and made plastic bodies. Would you like plastic screens? laugh out loud
