Oh is it? I was seeing every other place sell for around 139. And ccc showed a low of 79 sometime back which this equals with the no rush discount, so went for it.

Nice Deal! I have the old model and it has served me well for many years. This newer one with locking hitch is one feature I really did want from my old one and at $79 this is a steal.

Well, its considerably cheaper for one. The yakima 4-bike fulltilt costs over 400. But its supposed to be quite a bit heavier and better made. From reading reviews, it appears that the allen sports one doesnt stop bikes from bumping each other and ppl have mentioned using bungee cords and velcro to keep them from moving. No such issues on the yakima. But I dont plan on using it excessively, and only over short distances to a few nearby bike trails. So I think I should be ok with this one. Can provide a review of my experience once I get it.
Also my bikes arent all that expensive, so dont plan on spending more on a hitch than the bike it carries.

I saw some comparisons here [listoffit.com].
