If you are in the outdoors tenting with a queen size blowup mattress with an electric pump.....you are not camping. Odds are your vehicle is nearby. Just use an extension cord with a power inverter from your vehicle and blow it up in your tent.

Happy glamping!

Haha, many folks think that parking an RV in a campground is camping!

Stay away from Intex brand air mattresses. Poor warranty & poor quality.

It shows $3 off, Thats front page worthy?
That's $3 off the sale price. Check CCC for average and low prices. Never trust Amazon's sale amount and %.

Name a similarly priced product that is superior and available ? I've owned a ton of them over the years. All breaks were my own fault such as hard wood floors with nails or dragging them.

I'm not gentle with these. they last. Sharp objects will be the death of any inflatable. Most people are just too lazy to patch them and buy a new one each time they break.

The built in pillow on these are super uncomfortable. Admittedly I have nerve damage and I cannot sleep comfortably on this mattress at all.

I greatly prefer this Intex https://www.amazon.com/Intex-Elev...B07F3DNVFS [amazon.com] $35

It's 18" instead of 16.5" and it's a flat top so that you don't have to sleep like a weirdo.
I've found a foam "mattress topper" makes a big difference in comfort with any air mattress.

I use these camping and once took a 4" gel foam topper and I greatly agree with you. I stopped doing it because they are super heavy at that size and take up a ton of room. If you have a vacuum sealer with bags that will fit it, then that route would be awesome for camping.

To each their own :-D I do all 3 levels of camping...me and my backpack, Tent and my car, RV and my Truck. I love them all! But each does have it's unique needs for different gear. All are camping IMHO, and I still wish these had batteries and not just cords :-P

I second that the built in pillow is extremely uncomfortable, making sleeping on it impossible - and I don't have nerve damage Smilie and don't think you can just turn it around, cuz then your feet are lifted very awkwardly too!

I appreciate the advice, but unfortunately I cannot help but sleep like a weirdo.

I'm not here to offer alternative products and that's not the point of my post; I can only speak to my experience with this brand.

I have owned several as well. I was not rough with them. Each developed small holes within the first 5 uses; none of them were replaced by Intex.

Buy at your own risk.

Some people have medical issues so think before you judge. Without my Intex mattress I could not go camping due to degenerative spine and severe herniated discs.
