You forgot to mention it biggest drawback, that it's also an HP Smilie
Yea, it's from a company that lost #1 back in q3 2018 and now only comes in at #2 for global computer market share. Must be crap. https://www.statista.com/statisti...rter-2009/

Generally, anything. Specifically, Lenovo!
Personally, I wouldn't touch a Lenovo with a 10 foot pole. Have seen several repeat failures with their hardware on different laptops and personally dislike their designs. We are mostly an HP shop at work now and have had great luck barring a few random issues with drivers if it was a newly released machine. My experience with HPs has been in a purly business enviroment though. Note sure if the personal laptops are as reliable.

Squaretrade's paper on laptop reliability puts HP at dead last, although that paper is about 10 years old now.

Wow.. I feel like 9th gen desktop replacement i7-9750H has been out for less than 1/2 a year or so in laptops. I know this is the mobile line but are they releasing these ahead of schedule? Seems like it's all market engineering anyway.. the jumps from 8th to 9th wasn't huge and I don't expect this to be either because they've been stuck at this crappy 14nm process for 3-4 years.

It's not. You probably forgot to upgrade the screen to FHD.
