4+ Star Hotels in New York City for Average of $100 Per Night (Travel January-March 2020)

so rare.

Major hotels in the New York City area have stays for $85-$109 per night on 4+ stars properties. Hotel deals are hard to post only because their pricing is based on dates, night of the week, duration, bed type, if there's an event in town, etc.. My screenshot shows two different 'one-night stay' for different hotels. You can see the well-known brand name and their pricing.

I used Expedia [expedia.com] for my examples but you may use any reputable OTA (Online Travel Agency) such as hotels.com [hotels.com], Priceline [priceline.com], Kayak [kayak.com], Hotwire [hotwire.com], Orbitz [orbitz.com], etc..

Don't forget to check for coupon codes for additional savings, if applicable!

Wow! It got to be some kind of mistake. Wouldn't surprise me if they don't even honor it. I don't feel like playing around, could you share the dates of your screenshot?

Ah stop bitching. I discovered the Park Lane Hotel in Midtown (panoramic views of central park, 3 doors from the plaza) from a thread like this. Its now the only place ive stayed in NY. I even took a helicopter tour and people kept asking me if the photos from the hotel room were also from the chopper. Found it for $159 + fees here. Upgraded for $70/night to the premier park view rooms. Now ill gladly drop $350 just to be done with it, they provide an additional discount if you book like 4 or 5+ months out direct with them.

Not a mistake. It's slow season in New York and these are pretty normal rates for a 4*. I've gotten as cheap as $70/night in the past for Dec/Jan stays in NYC 4*.

Exactly my point. SD is cluttered enough as it is for obvious off-season generalities to add noise. (FYI, it gets really cold in New York and you get what you pay for. But yeah, if you want your one Instagram money shot at Times Square, quickly taking off your down jacket for that golden bragging moment, the hotels would love to have you.)

This is not a slickdeal. Cool story brah.

Looked for hotels in NY a few weeks ago and many options midtown Manhattan for $150 range.

Ditto, after new years, these are fairly normal rates, maybe a tad lower. I have been seeing many more hotels adding on resort fees though, so don't forget to look at the fine print.
