You can report any unscrupulous Walmart employee to Walmart corporate, and Walmart corporate will investigate. Give Walmart corporate the employee's full name and the store's address using the following link:

I was able to get a clearance laptop this way last time. See below. Let the Walmart corporate and their asset protection team take care of it. Don't waste time arguing with any unscrupulous Walmart employee at the store because they will never get the item for you if they want item for themselves. The item is locked in a cage and not something you can walk in, grab it yourself, and pay for it. Good luck Stick Out Tongue

HP Warranty Update
This goes for anyone who bought one of the HP's - if the Warranty is showing expired on their site and in their support app there is a link to dispute the warranty status. Submit the form and attach a picture of your receipt and they will correct the warranty status to start from the day you purchased it.

I did this for mine, just took a picture of the receipt which showed the model and serial number and I had an email confirmation within a couple hours and now have a full warranty.

They have the omen 15" at my Walmart but when they price checked it, it was not on sale. Is there anything I can do to get the sale price?

buy and return/rebuy at another Walmart with sale price.

The Walmart in Temple, PA (Reading) has floor models in the back. The lady confirmed they were there but said they can't sell them until they're wiped or looked over. Asked the electronics employee (takes 20 minutes to find one at this store) and they said they'll get to it one day. Maybe I need to ask for the Manager to see if I can just buy one as-is...? Same was with the Camden, DE location, but their displays are still out with clearance signs on them, but they refuse to sell them. Ugh

Yes. U need to talk to the department manager. I was able to get one 25% off. Bummer was they didn't have a charger and hadn't since they put it out. I took a chance and it actually had never been setup! So pretty good deal even after a used power supply was bought off of Amazon... Just be persistent.... They didn't even give me the run around about reloading.

I was able to pickup the floor model of the CYBERPOWERPC and it's much faster than my old PC. Although, has anyone had any issues with the version of Windows installed? According to Winver it's Version 1903 (OS Build 18362.356) but the Microsoft Store is not installed. All attempts to reinstall have been unsuccessful: wsreset.exe, Running this from cmd Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Do any of these laptops have USB C with DisplayPort built-in? The reason I ask is I'd like to pair my new laptop with my Dell docking station that uses USB C with DisplayPort.

Yes, the warranty can be fixed by opening a case with HP support and uploading a copy of the receipt.

The store open-box policy seems to be whatever the manager of the store decides. I don't believe that they are obligated, and simply might say that's why it was on clearance. Probably can't hurt, but I wouldn't count on anything....

Yeah.. I have been run into many differing policies, half of the stores around me state right off the bat they dont sell the displays. They have to be returned to the warehouse. Which the other half say, sure we can sell them, discounts range from 10% to 25%....
