You probably used a standard envelope. If you use a padded one they can't tell what is in there and usually won't cause a fuss as long as the weight is correct. Pretty sure it's to keep the item from ripping its way through the envelope if it gets a little wet.
Has nothing to do with an envelope. They have a tool they use to measure envelope depth. As they are sorting mail, they see if it will go through the hole in it. If it won't slide through, the parcel has to be sent as a package. I was using poly mailers.

A greeting card would fit through it unless you stuffed it with something.

"To be eligible for mailing at the price for letters, a piece must be:
Rectangular
At least 3-1/2 inches high x 5 inches long x 0.007 inch thick.
No more than 6-1/8 inches high x 11-1/2 inches long x 1/4 inch thick."
There is a template card available with a slot. Or there used to be. I haven't been in a mailroom in 10 years.

Right, and 1/4 inch isn't very thick, so no way a controller stand would pass.

New store with 1 review on Ebay? Errrr...nope. Probably one of those "deals" with the product never shipping. A month later they'll give you your money back after they've drawn interest on it and the product never arrived. In fact, I would just about guarantee it because it is listed at a $1 and would cost more than that to ship because of the stand that is supposed to be included.
Drawn interest? How many of these do you think will sell? Even at 4% interest, if 1,000 sold the interest would be $40. That's best case. Highly doubt anyone would go through the trouble of setting all of this up for $40.

Probably stuffed with drugs. Don't be surprised when some cartel guy comes asking for his xbox stand.

Anyway, in for 1.

When I pick up a dollar bill, it says "In God We Trust", so that is who I trust with my money. Smilie

Why would someone sell an item for $1, when it would cost more to ship it? If it was just the decal, then maybe, but still it has a stand your would have to send it as a package.
So you trust all your assets in god huh? Just because a man made paper note says to do so?...i bet you pay full msrp for a new car too right?

Do you really want to have this discussion here? And yes, I do trust God. If you don't, then that's your choice. Have a good one.
