Never have I seen something struggle so much to sell on Slickdeals

Well I guinea-pigged this from a couple days ago and it's been shipped & en route (not just label created). The real deal here is that, without the controller decal, I look forward to my controllers looking like they have little legs wearing jeans.

I will tell you a story about an idiot who tried something similar. And when I say "idiot", I'm referring to myself. I sell stuff on Ebay and have 100 percent rating and usually no problem. One day seen a bunch of vacuum belts at Walmart on clearance for $1 (2 pack), and normally priced around $5. I waited a few days because I didn't want to buy them in case anybody else needed them. Next time I was there, I noticed they weren't selling there, so I decided to buy most of them to sell on Ebay. I figured I could ship them using a two-ounce stamp for 81 cents, since they were just two pieces of rubber. Had no problem selling them until USPS started kicking them back. They wanted over $3 to ship a couple thin pieces of rubber. Of course I ended up paying for the shipping to complete my pre-existing orders, but then pulled them off Ebay. Point is, if this is legit it's a money pit for whoever is selling them. Smilie

New store with 1 review on Ebay? Errrr...nope. Probably one of those "deals" with the product never shipping. A month later they'll give you your money back after they've drawn interest on it and the product never arrived. In fact, I would just about guarantee it because it is listed at a $1 and would cost more than that to ship because of the stand that is supposed to be included.

don't you think that if I post it, I have some sort of trust factor is the deal? Now, you may not trust me, but that's a different thing all together Smilie.

Why would someone sell an item for $1, when it would cost more to ship it? If it was just the decal, then maybe, but still it has a stand your would have to send it as a package.

prob due to their feedback being 1 and the wanna do alot of sales to raise it

that makes sense, except of 2 things

1. this is ebay dotd, so maybe ebay is covering it
2. companies have better shipping costs and or marketing budgets...

comparing the 2 is kinda depressing, haha

Right, but who is "Coolbeens" with 1 review score? The whole thing just seems odd. Anyway, you may be right and I hope you are. In fact, this may be a BIG WIN for Quantum Break fans around the world who visit Slickdeals. Smilie

You probably used a standard envelope. If you use a padded one they can't tell what is in there and usually won't cause a fuss as long as the weight is correct. Pretty sure it's to keep the item from ripping its way through the envelope if it gets a little wet.

It's on the eBay deals page and eBay only promotes vetted retailers on that page.

I've tried to get my items on that page and it's a very thorough process.
