If you are a current At&t subscriber, the customer loyalty dept will offer you an iPhone Xr 64gb for $299+tax.

1) you have to agree to stay with At&t for 2 years
2) you have to pay for the phone in full
3) you have to have an upgrade-able (paid off) phone

I did this deal 5 month ago and again 10 days ago.
I wonder if they are only offering deals for the Xr? I went from a 6 to an Xr, and really did not like it at all because of the size and weight. I thought I would get used to it after a while, but ended up giving it to my daughter after a few months.

Too bad they are by FAR the best bang for buck iPhone model. I would rather have an 8 than an Xr, just due to size and weight factor alone (not to mention single hand use). Other than those two things (which are deal killers for me obviously), it's a fantastic phone. Battery life, screen, speed, camera, etc.

It was quite painful moving back to the slow 6 after a few months using the Xr!

Hopefully we will see some deals like this for other models as well.

If you like the 6, then you might want to look for the 6s. Same exact size, you can even use your old case. 6s is much better, because of double the RAM, faster processor and better camera, stronger (no bendgate). Price is not much more, I think only about $20 different eBay or Swappa.

The 256GB is $600 total with upgrade which seems the best option for me. Unfortunately the 128GB is out of stock for vzw

For those having issue with Verizon, open a separate page and log in to your Verizon.com before going thru walmart

So for 3) do I need to trade in that paid off phone (unlocked) or do I just push it aside and have to use the locked Att XR for two yrs?

Btw if the main account holder has 4 lines then can I do all 4 lines the same time or it has to be staggered?

Wirecutter agrees w/ you except they don't mention the weight & size. https://thewirecutter.com/reviews...artphones/

Doesn't seem to work with Cricket Wireless (owned by AT&T). Bummer, but expected as much.

I've been using the XR since launch and it's definitely a hefty phone. It's very noticeable coming from an iPhone 6 or a Galaxy S7 like I did.
