Nice price! This was about $135-$165 depending on the sale early in the year.

Newegg is going to start collecting tax in Texas Oct. 1. Was my last good no tax place to shop for PC.

Awesome SSD. Incredible price. I think I paid more than $200 over a year ago.
Anandtech has a great review on it.

When it comes to performance, the HP EX920 is also not quite at the top, but it's close enough.

What's with reviews saying this isn't supported by HP?

The warranty is supported by a 3rd party. Look for other threads on this drive and you fill find details.

Mine died after 10 month, and hp nor the third party provides no remedy or warrenty whatsoever.

Drives are manufactured by Biwin and use the HP name under license.
Found this post about it on reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc...ufacturer/

This looks promising:

In the US support is provided by Multipointe Channel Solutions 1-844-517-8295. The customer support guy seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. Apparently, their number should have been in the warranty booklet, even though it isn't.
Have you tried calling that number?

Does it have chips on both sides? I am looking for a single-sided drive for my laptop, thicker ones do not fit. TIA.

what country are you in and where did you purchase your drive? Hard to believe no warranty possibilities after only 10 months.

i emailed to see what they would say and how fast, it was about 10 mins i get a reply with RMA information, they ask where it was purchased and invoice, perhaps you bought it off craigslist or ebay (i know i did) i will ask about ebay purchase just for fun to see what they say) but it all looks legit to me. I wonder if you really even tried.

Yes it's double sided and will not fit some laptops.
