Lots of things some with amazing discounts [sears.com]... One near me about 10 miles but may worth a trip...

I wish Sears didn't close so many stores. Nearest one is 50 miles away. But reps for the deal. Pretty good price.

I am with you on locations. I'm 55 miles from their location since closing a store 5 miles away. They never give free shipping and have never remained competitive, thus the closings. An old store that just didn't keep up with the digital shopping market.

I used to buy a lot of things from Sears with free shipping to the store. Since there are so few stores open anymore, I rarely buy anything from them anymore.

Same here. I was a frequent Sears shopper until the local stores closed. Since then, zero.

Sears was a constant slick deal when doing order pickups because after 5 minutes, I received a $5 coupon. If I waited longer and the manager had to be involved, I received a fist full of them.

Add to that the end of season clearance prices with mountains of leftover stock. In January there was still Halloween stuff.

Those were the days.

Could be worse, I'm 10 miles from nearly any store except a dollar general and small town grocery store because I live in a rural area. I literally have to drive 10 miles to get to anything.

I used to be 2 miles from one Sears and about 5 miles from another. Both closed last year. The first one was no surprise - Sears was pretty much the last traditional anchor in the badly struggling mall. The second one was a shock - the Sears that closed was in a booming mall that was located in the affluent west side of Houston. It was always relatively busy and well-stocked.

Now the nearest Sears is about 12 miles away, and I definitely don't shop there as often. One Sears policy that does help is that when you order an item for in-store pickup, you have 30 days or so to get it (much longer than most other stores offer). So plenty of time to be "in the neighborhood anyways " and pick up your item.

All these Sears FP deals today. Must be quarterly end when then need to pay their bills and accounting dept said, "We need Cash!"

Closed 5 stores within 15 miles in the past few years. Now need to drive to the next state and pay tolls for any deals.
