For now. I happen to live near one and went on the site to spend my weekly point allotment, found this blowout sale going on and now I've gotta go pick up a bunch of stuff I really didn't need.

They have a 22 piece set for $5.94 that includes 20 sockets and wratchet. Metric sizes are the same but standard is shifted one size smaller compared to the sockets alone so the largest is 1/2 instead of 9/16.

Looks like Metric set is the same price as well.

Do these Evolv have the same return warranty as regular craftsman?

Edit** These don't offer free if charge unlimited warranty as to the regular craftsman brand. They offer a limited warranty with Proof if purchase only.

These seem like good for a set that you dont care for much, something you wont care to get lost or stolen.

I've had good experiences with the Evolv products.

The SAE system needs to die. The metric is so much easier to remember, to calculate and to execute. Base 10s all the way. The SAE can have my FOOT up the bung hole.

Good deals to be had on Sears, but do we need 50 separate threads for their 50% off sale?

I'd have posted many of these together except I ran across them individually while looking for stuff to spend my points on when I looking through stuff available for local pickup for me to grab this afternoon. Some of them were kind of buried or weren't local to me as I noticed a few people turned up ones I didn't find. It was also 5AM and I didn't have a heck of a lot of time to think about it.

I have ~10 year old version of this, and it's probably the most handy, go-to set I own. I have a bunch of 3/8 and 1/2 sockets, mostly Harbor Freight stuff, that I use for bigger auto work, but for most lightweight car stuff and random around the house needs, this little 1/4" set is perfect.
