Snapper as we remember is now a "zombie" brand of the Briggs and Stratton Company, which also markets a lot of items under Troy Bilt (another Zombie Brand, used to be part of Garden Way)... but not all, as Troy Bilt is also part of MTD... confused??? It gets worse.

Poulan/ElectroLux/WCI made Craftsman mowers for the longest time.

Now Poulan is part of Husqvarna... which has sadly fallen in quality. It's a "Global Brand" of theirs...

Or basically they license the names to some offshore company, kind of like the "Snap-On" crap sold at Big Box stores, that not really made by Snap On (IE: Snap On at Costco). This is basically what Troy Bilt is between MTD and B&S... basically made all over the place and a stick with that brand is put on it... Sometimes the brand gets caught between items, IE: Troy Bilt Lawn Mowers, made by MTD, Troy Bilt Generators, part of Briggs...

Basically, rarely are you buying anything made by anyone... (Honda is probably the last of the mowers that are made 100% by the brand).

Definitely a good price. These were $199 on clearance @ local stores. It seems like they're trying to get rid of online inventory now as well.

Good deal if you don't care about being able to replace the battery when it dies in a few years.

I have the 60V model similar to this and really like the mower. Got mine last year for about 110 on clearance at Walmart.

I don't know what Wal Marts snapper products are.

Theyve got a small gas weed trimmer with the snapper name on it, and I have one that looks the EXACT same with Murray written on it.

Any input on these? Maybe compared to the greenworks mower from lowes?

Did they just rebranded the battery? They used to be 60V, now 58V?
