pfSense is under "more devices." Other router options under "router."

I wouldn't follow the pfSense guide to the dot. Specifically, I opted to skip the DNS Resolver part. I was already using encrypted DNS over TLS with 1.1.1.1 [netgate.com], and personally I think it's a little more privacy centered to keep your DNS queries on a separate encrypted tunnel.

Also, unless you want your entire LAN encrypted, don't setup LAN net as your source, but enter a specific local IP, or better yet, an alias with various IPs of the local devices you want secured with the VPN. You won't want your entire LAN encrypted, because there's a lot of websites/services you won't be able to visit because they can tell you're using a VPN (e.g. Netflix).

They also don't include a guide to setup a killswitch, which you should. I'll link a few more guides below for this. A little confusing at first, but once it's working properly, it's hard to trust VPN apps again. And remember, make sure you actually test the killswitch by stopping the VPN service. Hope it helps.

Has anyone had experience with this VPN across Android, Windows or Amazon Fire device? Would you recommend their service after using it?

It works fine through my router. I am able to use it in windows running as admin, but have not been able to get apps to work in Android or Ios.
I would only recommend it if you install it on your router, otherwise you may have problems using the service.

Bought this last time it was at this price. Tried it out in my firestick, it disconnected after about 15 minutes. It's good on Android, but the red blinking LED gets annoying sometimes and can't turn it off, but at least if it's off, I know the VPN disconnected. It does disconnect often on my computer. I turned off my router's firewall today, hopefully it will fix this (that's one of the fixes the FAQS specify).
