Yeah because if you are hanging outside or doing some yard work heaven forbid you bring your dog out with you.

Not illegal in NY... and these work great for people like me and my dog. When we go hiking or on camping trips and when we are backpacking this goes well in at home base, prevents her from getting too excited and running off after animals or sounds and getting lost in the woods. Leashing your companion is the responsible thing to do. Although leaving them tied up outside at all times is a bit hillbilly like.

They are great for outdoor inflatables during the holidays to keep from being stolen or blown away

This is illegal in many states. Also you shouldn't tie up your dog unless you're a worthless hillbilly

I figured it was good for bringing the dog to the park or camping or something... Or a quick stay outside in the yard. Def not to keep it outside tied to one of these in the back yard at all times. That didn't even cross my mind, that's sick. Pet dogs and cats need to be allowed inside!

These work great when we go camping to hold down tarps. Bungee cord and these for wind. Also great for beach umbrella tie downs. Grabbing a few extras. Thanks OP.

These work great as anchors. I use them to anchor the edges of my 10x20 portable carport. I've used them to anchor the ez up too.
I normally use the ones from harbor freight but they are pretty soft and bend easy.
I'll try a few of these with the slow shipping credit

What's with the human comparison for size? It resembles some of the more interesting x-rays we've all seen from emergency rooms.

Can I use them to tie down the kids to make sure they don't run off?

Actually...
All you need to do is show this thing to the dog AND he'll stay where you tell'em to stay.
