Offer details from Sprint for upgrade [sprint.com]:

iPhone 11 64GB $0/mo. iPhone 11 Pro 64GB $12.50/mo. or iPhone 11 Pro Max 64GB $16.67/mo. after $29.17/mo. credit, applied within 2 bills. This is a good deal for those living in good Sprint coverage/network areas. You can trade in the above mentioned smartphones in any condition (defective, won't turn on, cracked, bent, water damaged, acid damaged, missing screen, missing internal parts/components, covered in poop, etc.) for $525 (in the form of 18 monthly bill credits) towards any iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, or iPhone 11 Pro Max with the Sprint Flex lease with new line or upgrade as long as the trade-in IMEI/ESN is not blacklisted/flagged (such as stolen, unpaid balance, etc.) and is not locked. You can check the IMEI/ESN by doing a mock order on sprint.com.

For those not familiar with the Sprint Flex lease, here is a sample calculation. For instance, in this offer, you can trade in a defective iPhone 7 with a clean IMEI/ESN (unlocked and fully paid) for an iPhone 11 64GB with the following options after 18 months (at the end of the Sprint Flex lease):

1. Return the iPhone 11:
You pay $0 x 18 months = $0.

2. Keep/own the iPhone 11:
You pay either (A) $175 in one payment or (B) $175 in 6 monthly payments, that is $29.17 x 6 months.

For option 2, you must inform Sprint that you want to buy out the iPhone 11 after 18 months (at the end of the Sprint Flex lease) or Sprint will assume that you want to continue leasing the iPhone 11 for $29.17/mo (which I don't recommend).

See below for more info on Sprint Flex lease:
https://www.sprint.com/en/support...lease.html

Free Next Day shipping and free activation/upgrade fee.

Now, go find yourself some cheap, defective smartphones for trade ins. Go go go !!! Big Grin

The magic of this deal is that you can trade in the phone in ANY condition. I have confirmed this with Sprint. For new Sprint customers or for adding new lines, you don't have to port in any number. There is a lot of incorrect information in this thread. Just follow the instructions from the OP and you will be fine Stick Out Tongue

warning about purchase option

*Purchase option is not available for customers who have a rent charge and live in DE, NJ, NY, ND, PA or PR

Got Confirmation from Customer Service Chat :
Phone has to be Unlocked, even cracked does not turn on is eligible for trade in (Read the details in the post)

Sprint service depends on where you live and which device you use. Sprint now roams on T-mobile as home network based on the 4-year roaming agreement signed with T-Mobile. Sprint also roams on AT&T and Verizon. In addition, Sprint has upgraded to LTE-A [sprint.com] (256/64 QAM, 4X4 MIMO, 3-channel CA, HPUE, etc.) in many cities [sprint.com]. The downside is you need a phone that supports these features to fully appreciate and enjoy the upgraded network; and from the iPhone 11 specs, it has LTE-A Big Grin

Give it a try. You have 30 days to try it before you send in your trade-in device, so don't send in your trade-in device until you are satisfied. Sprint will refund everything back if you decide Sprint is not for you within 30 days.

New lines only, I assume? No upgrades?

**EDIT** Nevermind, I found it in the fine print. New line activation required. Hopefully there's a deal somewhere for current customers.

If it doesn't turn on, how can you find the IMEI? I have a water damaged Pixel 3 xl. I might get my Sprint buddy to add a line to their plan for me if the cost of an extra line isn't too high
Same question, "any condition" but still requiring the IMEI doesn't really make sense

It must turn on according to Sprint. It will also be looked at by Sprint to be in sellable condition called and tried. I also spent 5 and half hours trying to get this deal. Sprints computers won't take payment so no deal...they can't process it. This is from the pre estimate that I have not been able to purchase.

Return Equipment Terms and Conditions
Device damaged fee: A device damaged fee will be assessed and collected if the returned device is damaged.
All return devices to Sprint must be unlocked and prepared as listed:
Apple Devices - Content MUST be erased and reset and "Find My iPhone" setting disabled. To learn how click Restore to Default Device Settings
Android Devices - Content MUST be erased and reset. To learn how click Restore to Default Device Settings
Failure to follow the above instructions could result in full payment of accelerated charges for the device.

Tempting if you can get device on SWAC however I feel Apple still has to do catch up with features in comparison to Android.

Any idea of minimum line cost? I have 3 free lines currently. And what is the penalty to close the line early?

That's what I'm seeing too. I thought there used to be a SWAC plan for $30/35 with unlimited data? But even on the SWAC site I can't seem to get it to work.
