I enjoyed the first playthrough and didnt even touch the NG+ mode. I think I read somewhere that the developer was planning to release some DLC but I am not sure if that is still happening. I honestly enjoyed the dungeon crawling aspect even though it felt a bit clunky and my inventory would get overloaded often. Think of a less refined zelda for the dungeon crawling aspects. I actually had a lot of fun with the shopkeeping/sell elements of the game where you can set prices for your dungeon loot. It takes a little bit of time to get the right price but you can make bank when you do. Once you figure out what the best prices to set the sales items at the game is a bit easy. I would recommend this game if you enjoy zelda-ish dungeons and keep in mind it isn't too long as there are only 4 dungeons to explore but multiple levels to explore and they are randomly generated each time you enter.

Anyone have experience with Moonlighter? Reviews seem decent, but I'm interested in first-hand commentary.

I got this last sale, I like the game but not being able to upgrade you backpack gets old quick.

If you have Xbox gamepass it's free.

Really enjoyed my time with Moonlighter. 25+ hours, think of it kinda like Zelda link to the past style gameplay with loot. The selling aspect was fun too! It takes some time finding the correct price but ultimately it's pretty fun expanding your store and inventory! I was addicted to this game for a while. Didn't go back for NG+ though. For me, once was good. Boss battles are TOUGH though just FYI.

I'd give it a solid 8/10

I bought this game a few months ago and put a lot of time into it. I feel like the shopkeeping sim aspect of it is kinda flat. The prices are listed on the Wiki which helps if you dont want to guess prices. The dungeon aspect is great but having your backpack fill up so fast sucks. I eventually stopped playing it because i didnt really feel like I was going anywhere. it was worth the price but overall it was all right

I gave up after ~2 hours. I had seriously been debating getting it on Switch but then it became free on epic games a few weeks ago. The dungeons were super boring and the game was just one long grind. Even the selling part of the game only interested me for a couple of times before that was boring as well. Personally I'm really glad I got this for free and not wasted my money. If you look up any reviews for it you find people that generally liked it and people that hated it because it is just one long grind.

I haven't played this war of mine yet but I'm really looking forward to it. It has solid reviews and was also free a few weeks ago on epic.

I bought this last time it was on sale. Game was fun and interesting at first, but got boring quickly. There are 4 dungeons to complete. I made it through the first one and gave up at the second. Very repetitive and grindy without much reward.

Just beat this game two days ago. As others have mentioned it's a bit short, but the shop element can be fun.

The final dungeon boss and the final final bosses were easier than the others imo. Which was a let down. I feel like they could have done more for a more challenging and climactic ending.

I love these types of games and I would rate this a solid 8. Lots of fun and easy to dive into.

tip, if you go into the item price menu, they list each dungeons items from low to high, with priced line breaks. So simply price higher as you climb the item ladder, comparing to the closest price line break. Save you some time compared to picking prices out of thin air like I did for 50% of the game.
