I've got one of those "flip" Belgian-sizes waffle makers. Too thick! I prefer thin, Waffle House-sizes waffles. Lol. The thicker waffle machines are good for making brownie-waffles tho 👍🏼
How to make batter? Send me tips please. Mine come out awful :-(

It is either undercooked/soggy or overcooked and too stiff

I've been looking for a cheap waffle maker to get on board the chaffle train, but this looks it'll be way too thick! Repped anyways since its a good price and a ton in my area.

I make these in this exact waffle maker. All I do is make sure its fully preheated, and leave in at least an extra minute or 2 after the light says ready to get the golden brown, slight crisp. https://thesaltymarshmallow.com/h...le-recipe/

I got this for free after rebate a couple of Black Fridays ago.

It's okay, good for regular waffles and also chaffles

Recipe for this size iron:

Mix 1 egg, 1 cup of shredded cheddar, salt, pepper, a tablespoon of flax seeds.

Preheat the iron, sprinkle some cheese, then egg/cheese mixture on top, then more cheese. Cook until steam tapers down.

Cheese! Yes. People look at me crazy when I say I add sharp cheddar cheese to my waffle mix.
