Get Uncharted 4, Little Big Planet 3, infamous second son, or ratchet and clank for PS4 for only 9.99. These prices were matched by my area Best Buy as well if there are none in stock at your local kohl's.

You're not going to see much (if any) load time decrease on current gen hardware between physical and digital releases. Convenience is the primary reason people go digital, they don't want to worry about physical space for collections or switching discs. Game companies want you to go digital because they can sell you the same product without manufacturing or shipping costs and you lose all resellability.

There are still plenty of benefits to physical, chiefly controlling the product as you bought it.

1. Trading and resale. You can't sell a digital copy later. You can't lend it to a friend.

2. Permanence. The Wii eShop is gone; anything you bought digitally through that channel is no longer available. The DSi shop is gone; anything you bought digitally through that channel is no longer available. If a company loses a license like Scott Pilgrim did, the game just disappears in the ether and even if you bought it you can't redownload it.

3. No download necessary. A debatable point with games receiving patches and updates even before they release and installations becoming mandatory, but if you decide to play a game on physical media without an internet connection you can.

4. Harddrive space vs shelf space. HDD space is finite, too, and that becomes the new issue when you switch to digital.

Infamous second son looks good. I already have uncharted 4 and ratchet & clank. UC4 is definitely a must have game that I would think every PS4 owner already have.

Already own Infamous and Uncharted, already played LBP3 on PS3 and I heard they took some, uh, liberties with R&C, plus I prefer black label games if I can help it, for the rest of you the 3 I mentioned are all great games and all definitely different from each other.

2 franchise killers on the list, Infamous second son and LBP3. Anyone actually think we will see more games from those series?

If it helps, all four of them are great. LBP is a little meh but still a lot of fun.

My concern is, why did I not know Kohl's sold video games?

You can buy a regular blue replacement case for $1. I don't like those red cases either but I will take disc game over digital everyday. My game collection consists of like 60% disc and 40% digital.

Because they keep them in what looks like a bargain bin and they overcharge drastically for them.
