It's been this price before and wasn't rated highly on the deals. Seems $50 is the usual "deal" price. Great reviews though. I wonder if it comes in a brown box or if it comes in the mfr box? Wondering for a gift reason.

I want to jump on this price, but I'm buying for a Christmas present, so I guess I'll wait for BF deals and hope they are even better.

I have had this unit since March 2019 (about 6 months now) and it is great! I have roasted lots of bacon, french fries, a few whole chickens, chicken thighs, quite a few things.

One caveat, however. Once in a while it throws an "E2" (Overfull) error. If that happens, you just have to be there to pull the frying basket out, then push it back in. I've noticed the "E2" error is thrown less often now that the fryer has "broken in" a bit.

So long as you're not going to walk away from your air fryer for hours (and because it's hot and dangerous, you shouldn't ever do such a thing), this unit can and will make you very happy.

The review on amazon is worrisome though.
